Digital Blind Spots LLC ("we", "us") is a website audit business in Wake County, North Carolina. This policy explains what personal information we collect through digitalblindspots.com and through working with clients, why we collect it, and who else handles it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

The short version. We collect what you type into our contact form and what you tell us while we work together. We use it to reply to you and do the work. We do not sell it, we do not advertise to you, and we do not run tracking cookies on this site.

1. Information you give us

When you submit the request form on this site, we collect:

If you book a discovery call, you provide your name, email and chosen time through Google's appointment booking page. If you email us directly, we hold that email and anything in it.

2. Information we collect when you become a client

Depending on what you buy, we may also hold:

3. Payments

We do not collect, see, or store your card details. Payments are handled by our payment processor, and your card information goes to them, not to us. We receive a record that a payment succeeded, the amount, and your name and email.

4. Who else touches your information

We are a one-person business using ordinary business software. These providers process information on our behalf:

ProviderWhat it handles
Web3FormsDelivers this site's contact form submissions to our inbox
NetlifyHosts this website; keeps standard server logs, including visitor IP addresses
Google (Workspace, Calendar, Drive)Our email, the discovery call booking page, and delivery of report files
Google FontsServes the typefaces on this page; your browser requests them from Google
HubSpotOur customer records — name, business, email, and conversation history
Our payment processorCard processing and receipts

We do not sell your information, rent it, trade it, or share it with anyone for their own marketing. We will disclose information if the law requires it.

5. Cookies and tracking

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run behavioural advertising anywhere. Netlify keeps standard server logs for security and reliability. If we add website analytics in future, we will update this policy and say so here before doing it.

6. Why we're allowed to hold it

We hold your information because you asked us to do something (reply to an enquiry, audit your site, run your retainer), because we have a contract with you, or because we need it to run the business — invoices, tax records, and keeping a record of what we delivered.

7. How long we keep it

8. Where your information lives

We are a United States business and our providers store information in the United States. If you contact us from outside the US, your information will be processed there.

9. Keeping it safe

Credentials and any access you grant us are held in a password manager, never in a document or a spreadsheet. We prefer role-based access — you inviting our email address with a specific permission level — over shared passwords, so you can see and revoke our access yourself at any time. We only ever use access for the work in your agreement. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not hold the kind of data that makes us worth attacking: no card numbers, no customer databases, no logins we don't need.

10. What you can ask us to do

Email jacob@digitalblindspots.com and ask us to:

We reply to everything within one business day. There is no form and no fee.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes affecting existing clients will be emailed, not quietly published.
